Generating inspiring ideas drives my ambition as a designer. From furniture to textiles, I thrive on making a mark in the home furnishings world.
Skills I am an ambitious designer with excellent managerial skills. As Soup Home's brand & product development manager, I have enabled the launch of our brand by executing all of Soup's textile and furniture tech packs as well as creating initial marketing material to advertise our product line. I am involved with every aspect of the company's design process - from design to production to marketing.
Experience Previously I've interned with Jonathan Adler and Ducduc Furniture in New York, and Pottery Barn in San Francisco. My internships offered fantastic experience in working quickly and efficiently to produce renderings, technical drawings and spec sheets for communication with vendors abroad and in the US.
Education Originally from California, I received a BA with first class honors in product design from the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland. I completed my freshman foundation year at the Rhode Island School of Design and moved to Scotland to pursue an intensive one-year woodworking and design course at the Chippendale International School of Furniture. Working with students and teachers from around the world has served as an invaluable part of my education.
